3.4 Make flag Use Auto Switch highest priority

3.4.1 Make flag Use Auto Switch highest priority

There are four ways to integrate data from Agent to Salesforce which are:

  • Use Auto-Switch Mode
  • BULK Mode
  • Batch Mode
  • Normal Mode

User can integrate their data as desire. “Bulk Mode” used to be a highest priority. For new release, “Use Auto-Switch Mode” will be a priority.

  • Use Auto-Switch Mode

When user check Use Auto-Switch Mode on Interface so the processing will be based on field Integrate Max Size and Integrate Batch Max Size.

If the number of records (Data) <= Integrate Max Size, Interface will run in Normal Mode.

If the number of records (Data) > Integrate Max Size and number of records (Data) <= Integrate Batch Max Size, Interface will run in Batch Mode.

If the number of records (Data) > Integrate Batch Max Size, Interface will run in BULK Mode.

To configure this, user have to:

  1. Enter SKYVVA Integration and Interface detail page
  2. Checkbox on “Use Auto-Switch Mode”

Since “Use Auto-Switch Mode” has more priority the message will process into “Batch Mode” or “Bulk Mode” is based on your numerical set.

Note
The default number of Integrate Max Size is 200. The default number of Integrate Batch Max Size is 5000.
  • BULK Mode

This describes how to create a Salesforce BULK Mode using SKYVVA Agent Connect Salesforce BULK Mode. With the BULK Mode, user can process a large number of records in an Upsert, Insert, Update, Delete or Query action. If user need to load or export a large volume of records, and user do not need to transform any of the fields, we recommend using a BULK Mode, which is faster and scales better than Update or Upsert operations. BULK Mode  supports File, FTP and JDBC. BULK Mode requires an external ID field for the target that is appropriately mapped to a source field.

Approach :

When user check BULK Mode  on (Interface detail page) Interface so the processing will be run in BULK Mode.

  • Bulk Control Board

User could check data in Bulk Control Board on (Integration detail page).

Simply user have to click on „Bulk Control Board“

  • Batch Mode

Batch Mode processes several source records at a time (the batches) and has fewer limitations. It can be used in cases where streaming is not automatically used and is applicable for hierarchical sources (for example, for multiple database tables with one or more parent-child relationship or for hierarchical file formats.

Batch Mode can be used in these cases where the source is very large:

  • Hierarchical database to either CSV,XML or a single table
  • Hierarchical database to hierarchical text/database
  • Hierarchical text to either CSV,XML or a single table
  • Hierarchical text to hierarchical text/database

Approach :

When user check Batch Mode  on (Interface detail page) Interface so the processing will be run in Batch Mode.

  • Batch Control Board

User could check data in Batch Control Board on (Integration detail page) by simply click on „Bulk Control Board“

  • Normal Mode

When user unchecked flag Use Auto-Switch Mode, BULK Mode and Batch Mode so the processing will run in Normal Mode.
